Change

Everything around us, changes.
We change.

As time goes by, we shed old skin. Layers that have been piled on from years of external influences.
Or we simply decide to change because we desire something new.

Not all of us strive for change.
There are those (whom I admire), are OKAY with consistency and same-old tune day-in, day-out. I call them the "Anti-norm". They are creatures of habit who need a constant same-old-process in their life. Boredom is not an issue. Change will disrupt their safety net.
Then there are others, who pray - wish - love - embrace change. They seek change. It's what keeps them on their toes. And when that stops, they stop. Change keeps them alive. It feeds their soul and feels their heart.

So let me ask you....would you change for someone?
Would you allow yourself to change who you are, say for a new love?

When you change because of an outside factor, are you honest with yourself? And would you be able to continue?

Change is not easy. It's hard. Requires a strong will. Lots of determination. Lots of work.
Change is not simple. If it comes from within, then it's long term. Otherwise, you'll re-lapse back to your old ways on the path of bitterness.

I learnt one thing and I want you to do yourself a favour. Don't change for someone else. Do it because you want it. And you want it badly. And you believe in it. But don't alter yourself.

Change does not mean perfection.
Change is just change.
Change is igniting the fire.
But whatever, who am I to talk about change anyways when I continue to hold on to a broken clock from 1991!
