On the same page

Here's what I learnt in the last 24 hours

- You are never too old to find love and start a life together.

- Build your first block based on honesty and friendship before you venture into the next chapter called "relationship".

- Be patient with each other's situation because if "you guys" are meant to be, you'll become sooner or later.

- Never say never to starting something with a co-worker, do you think you're going to be working together forever?

I was happily surprised to find out one of my best friends has found the love of her life and is planning her wedding. Let me tell you something, she is no foolish-young woman, but a mature 41 yr old professional who several years ago announced her resignation to love. But who would have known that around the corner and for the last 10 years, one of her co-workers and close friends, was waiting for her. As I sat across from them during brunch, I was in awe to how much they were into each other as they exchanged passionate looks, held hands and made fun of each other.

You can tell their relationship is grounded with a solid foundation based on honesty and friendship. She melted every time he touched her back or her arm. I felt it in my bones.

How sweet it is to be with someone who is on the same page as you. So special.

And I wish them only the happiest of times together.
