I Believe and I am Not Alone
Just before Christmas, I started following the journey of the Olympic 2010 torch, passing through Canadian cities, towns, villages, prairies and mountains. At the best of times, the real-time web feed allowed me to get a glimpse of the relay.
It was exhilarating watching the reaction of the bearers upon receiving the torch. I realised after sometime, that I was taking on their feelings, their celebrations, and their pride. With every tear and every smile, I felt it deep in my soul.
I mean, they are making history. Each torch bearer had a story and to think of what they went through to get to be one of the lucky ones, is of great accomplishment.
We are now at day 95 with 10 days to go. I am so proud. To watch our country come together, one by one, hand in hand, in a long relay experience.

So today, I log into facebook and see a video labeled "I Believe" by Nikki Yanofsky. A youngen Canadian upcoming singer with a massive soul. And with every image and lyric, I shed a tear (yes, I cried while watching the ‘Lion King’ BITE ME!)
I am so proud of my Country. And even more proud of every Olympian...I'm so excited.
I Believe the time is right now!
I believe in your Power!
And I believe in sending all good energy your way!
I believe in your time Canada.
